The bass is tight and punchy and there is zero rub or issues. The sound of these speakers is pure vintage bliss! There is a reason these are so famous! The red fried egg phenolic tweeters are in perfect shape and have amazing detail and imaging. These are acoustic suspension speakers so this is important! Lastly the woofers were resealed so that no air leaks out. Next the crossovers were rebuilt using high quality film caps. They were reglued exactly how the original foams were. The actual speaker restoration involved first refoaming the woofers using a proper set of foams and the correct glue (both woofers were carefully centered before gluing). The cloths have very few points where the thread got tugged but can be reseated to even it out if it's bothersome. The all original cabinets are in fantastic condition for their age with only minimal wear on the bottom edges/corners but are otherwise very clean.
